Misha Collins Discusses Life as a ‘Supernatural’ Being

Not as Jensen related as you are used to, but this article is great, so I thought I should share it with you…

Some angels just don’t fit in with the whole concept of Christmas.  Even so, they still make for great television.  One of those responsible for the amazing ratings of Supernatural is fan favorite Castiel, portrayed by actor Misha Collins.

Earlier in the season, Castiel yanked the ruthless Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) from the depths of Hell.  Since then, the trench-coat-sporting angel started guarding the Winchester brothers with his partner, Uriel (Robert Wisdom).  It seems as though Collins is sticking around due to the positive response he garnered from audiences.  He actually just signed on for six episodes, but it looks like he’ll be in the Supernatural game longer than that.

“I’m totally flabbergasted,” the actor admitted.  He thought this role of his was just a recurring guest spot that would just be another step to fame.  As things turned out, it was Castiel that flew him towards much success.  “[T]he fan reaction has been huge and – this is big news – if the show gets picked up for a fifth season, they’re going to make me a regular on the show.

TV’s 50 Sexiest Men of 2008

Our picks for the sexiest men on television from 2008.

#7 Jensen Ackles, Supernatural

The sexiness of Jensen Ackles always came from his quick wits and dead-pan delivery of Dean’s strange flights of fancy. This season he added a deeply emotional component to his arsenal as Dean struggled with coming back from Hell. He may have been tortured mercilessly in Hell, but Dean came back looking better than ever.

P.S. Jared was voted #1!!!

A Death on ‘Supernatural’

There are plenty of great episodes ahead for Supernatural, with magicians, high schools and Dean driving a Prius (more on that last one can be heard in our upcoming exclusive interview with writer Sera Gamble). Kristin at E!Online recently got word on another episode that features Dean and Sam posing as ghosts to uncover the sudden death of reapers.

The big news Kristin has today is that in this episode, “a character we know and love dies.” While she doesn’t reveal who ths mystery death is, it shouldn’t be too hard to figure out because, as any Supernatural fan knows, there aren’t a whole lot of characters we “know and love.” It definitely takes Ruby out of the running.

My first hunch is that Kristin is using a bit of trickery. Since the boys pose as ghosts, maybe they have a spell that lets them die so they can become ghosts, but then be brought back to life after it’s over. Except for this possibility, I think we can all safely assume Dean or Sam won’t be the one to die.

Supernatural: Is Dean’s Angel Gone Forever?

I’m way to late with this, but anyway…

Fans are dying to know just one thing about Supernatural this season: Will Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) ever see Anna again now that she’s been taken back by the original man in her life, God?

Heaven’s messengers—including superfine seraphim Castiel (Misha Collins)—were introduced in the season premiere, but it was the arrival of former angel and sometime crazy-person Anna (Julie McNiven) that turned Supernatural season four totally epic.

So, does Anna come back for more unnaturally good sex with Dean? I’ve got the exclusive dish…

Delilah in Drummondville, Quebec, Canada: Anything new on Supernatural?
I’m hearing of an amazing episode in the new year about reapers in a small town who are getting killed, so Sam and Dean become ghosts to travel in the ghost world and figure out what’s going on. As long as they don’t put white sheets over my pretty boys’ faces, I’m in!

Janice in Miami: More Supernatural!
In honor of the show currently kicking ass in our CW Awards, I will tell you that a character we know and love dies in the aforementioned reaper episode. Guesses?

Supernatural Behind the Scenes – We Q&A With Writer Jeremy Carver about In The Beginning

Since Joining the writing team for the hit CW/Warner Brothers television show Supernatural, Jeremy Carver has written some of the most pivotal episodes of the series. Episodes like season three’s Mystery Spot and A Very Supernatural Christmas which have delved into the deep connections that Sam and Dean Winchester have with each other as brothers and with their destinies as ‘hunters’ in the world of monsters, urban legends and demons.

Season four of Supernatural has taken off like high speed roller coaster. It has been a twisting, turning ride that has seen Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) pulled from hell by the Angel Castiel (newcomer Misha Collins) and has sent Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) with the aid of the demon Ruby (Genevive Cortese) down a possible path of darkness as he explores and begins using his own possibly demonic given powers. Season four has also expanded the myth arc and history of the Winchester family and given Jeremy Carver the opportunity to write one of this season’s most pivotal episodes titled In The Beginning.

Eclipse Magazine.com caught up with Carver to ask him some ‘behind the scenes’ questions about the creation of this highly revealing episode.

My Bloody Valentine 3-D TV Spots

Two TV spots for My Bloody Valentine 3-D have popped online and you can check them out below. The Patrick Lussier directed flick is a remake of the 1981 horror movie of the same name and stars Jensen Ackles, Jaime King, Kerr Smith, Betsey Rue, Edi Gathegi, Tom Atkins, Kevin Tighe and Megan Boone.

In the movie, opening January 16, Tom (Ackles) returns to his hometown on the tenth anniversary of the Valentine’s night massacre that claimed the lives of 22 people. Instead of a homecoming, however, Tom finds himself suspected of committing the murders, and it seems like his old flame (King) is the only one will believes he’s innocent.
