| CW President Optimistic About More ‘Supernatural’ |
At yesterday’s upfront presentation for the Fall schedule, CW President Dawn Ostroff had the difficult task of being optimistic about some of the struggling network’s long-running shows. From the beginning, creator Eric Kripke has said that he has a five-year plan for the series, which would make this upcoming season the last one. Ostroff isn’t so quick to give up, however, saying that nothing is certain and they’ll just have to see what happens. On the bright side, Ostroff was complimentary of the creative direction the show went this season with the angels, and more importantly for a network president, she was pleased with how this effected the ratings. The average episode rating went up from last season and the season 4 premiere, “Lazarus Rising,” was the show’s highest rated episode since the first season. Does this mean Supernatural is definitely coming back for season 6? Certainly not. It means that the door is not closed so if this year Supernatural continues to grow and do even better, Ostroff wouldn’t mind keeping a show on the rise over shows that are going down. |

| Daytime Emmy’s |
Now that the Daytime Emmys have a new network home, producers want to make sure the CW can lure viewers who don’t know the difference between “Guiding Light” and “Grill It! With Bobby Flay.” According to Variety it’s certain there will be presenters who appear on CW series to help familiarize viewers, including “Supernatural” co-star Jensen Ackles (formerly on “Days of Our Lives”) and others to be announced. | Supernatural: Five Important Post-Finale Questions |
The only bad part of a Supernatural season fniale is how long fans have to wait for it to return. Last night Supernatural had one shocking episode that killed off two major characters, had Castiel betray Heaven and saw Lucifer on the rise. But now fans are left with an entire summer trying to figure out what’s going to happen next. There are undoubtedly a ton of questions you might have, but here are my five most important questions, and hopefully you can provide your own theories. Is Sam Back to Normal? |

| TV Review: Lucifer Rising |
A decent season finale as next season will be hell on Earth apparently.Awww man. I suppose the season finale of SUPERNATURAL “Lucifer Rising” did its job. I am left wanting more. Much more. But I’m also, admittedly, left a bit disappointed. As I guess I was expecting to see Dean (Jensen Ackles) play a bigger role, given he has been the centerpiece of the entire season. In fact, he didn’t play much of a role at all. The first half of the episode he is stuck in a holy prison by Zachariah and Castiel in order to protect him from the final leg of the journey that this season has been about – primarily the unlocking of the gates to hell in order to free Lucifer and unleash the apocalypse on Earth. We quickly are given what many of you have already deduced – the angels are just as bad as the demons they are fighting again. Zachariah tells Dean that all but one seal has fallen and that final seal has to do with Lilith. But Dean isn’t going to stop and kill Lilith and save Sam (Jared Padalecki) because the angels don’t want him to do anything. In fact, they want the seals broken. They want the apocalypse. |
