Supernatural: On the Head of a Pin

No photos yet, but here’s the official description for episode 4.16 of Supernatural, which should air on March 19th.

“On the Head of a Pin”
SOMEONE’S KILLING ANGELS — Someone found Lucifer’s sword and is using it to kill angels.  Castiel (Misha Collins) and Uriel (guest star Robert Wisdom) have captured Alastair (guest star Christopher Heyerdahl) and ask Dean (Jensen Ackles) to use the torturing skills he learned in Hell to extract information from him so they can stop the murders.  Sam (Jared Padalecki) is concerned Dean can’t handle the job but Dean agrees to do it.  However, when Alastair reveals some shocking information, Dean’s world is shattered.  Mike Rohl directed the episode written by Ben Edlund.

My thoughts which may be spoilery (or not, since I’m only guessing) are behind the cut.

Ask Ausiello: Spoiler on Supernatural

Question: Enough with all the Gossip Girl, Grey’s Anatomy and Supernatural scoop. I want some dish on the hottest zip code, 90210! –Gina
Ausiello:
Supernatural it is. The show is dedicating the March 12 episode to its late, beloved director Kim Manners, who passed away on Jan. 25. I’m told the ep will conclude with a 10-second photomontage followed by a brief message.

P.S.: Looks like Ausiello got the question a little bit wrong!!! Or me.

SUPERNATURAL Shocker: Sam and Dean Quit!?

Either SUPERNATURAL showrunner Eric Kripke is getting sloppy or he’s trying to put me out of a job!

In a just-released logline for SUPERNATURAL’s March 12 episode, the CW reveals a doozy of a spoiler. “Sam and Dean Head into the Spiritual world!”

Now, the chances of Sam and Dean, the two and for that matter only leads of the hit CW show actually being killed off in the same episode no less, is pretty slim (For the record, a SUPERNATURAL insider did not ensure me that this is Jared Padeleekci and/or Jensen Ackles last show). But hey, I think at the very least we can all agree that it certainly makes for one helluva headline on a somewhat slow news day?

CW Renews Supernatural

Fantastic news!!

The CW network announced this afternoon that Superrnatural will return next fall.

For Supernatural, this is the second straight early renewal. Creator Eric Kripke has repeatedly said from the start that the show would last five seasons, so this means next year is probably the final one.

Spoiler Chat: Watch With Kristin

Dana in Tampa, Fla.: Got any new Supernatural news?
Just that Lilith will likely raise her adorable little demonic head again in episode 20. Supernatural is casting for a suddenly possessed cutie-pie 11-year-old who turns into an evil ice queen. (And that’s Lilith if I’ve ever heard her described.) Oh, and for you angels fans: Castiel returns on March 12, and we’ll next see Uriel on March 19. Rejoice!

Marcus in Little Rock, Ark.: Supernatural!
Don’t you hate it when your friends get hooked on demon blood? Well, Dean and Bobby are going to stage an intervention on Sam for just that and keep him prisoner.

Supernatural: Episode 4.15 “Death Takes a Holiday” Video Preview

Supernatural returns after a painfully long hiatus with a new episode, “Death Takes a Holiday,” March 12 on The CW and Dean is gonna get some revenge. After being tortured by the creepiest looking man on the planet, Alastair, for three months (or 40 years – take your pick) now it’s Dean’s turn to shove a blade down his throat. All that and Sam gets some hot and heavy action. Sounds like another Thursday night down the tubes. Oh darn. But we don’t have to wait three weeks for a taste. Here’s the preview for “Death Takes a Holiday.”

Best part of the preview?

  • Dean torturing Alastair (63%, 69 Votes)
  • The return of Castiel (24%, 26 Votes)
  • Sam having sex (13%, 15 Votes)

Total Voters: 110
