Supernatural: Two New Video Clips from “Jump the Shark”

Supenatural is almost back and, finally, season 4 will air straight through until the very end.  After countless off-and-on scheduling flaws, the next four Thursdays will feature four new episodes of Supernatural leading up to the exciting season 4 finale on May 14 (despite early rumors that the show might have another break before the finale, we’ve confirmed that it’s not true).

Thus Thursday brings “Jump the Shark,” the episode that reveals Sam and Dean’s long lost half-brother Adam.  Or at least he claims to be their brother.  Supernatural has had some lies and false realities lately, and even the title of the episode suggests that adding a third Winchester brother is a terrible idea for the series.

The studio released two videos from this week’s episode featuring Sam and Dean’s reaction to finding Adam.  As you might’ve guessed, Dean doesn’t take to well to it.

In the first clip, Sam provides research that backs up Adam’s story, but Dean is still suspicious.  He’s fallen victim to illusions before, whether the Trickster was killing him every day or Zachariah was making him think he was a dieting douchebag.

In the second clip, Dean’s distrust of Adam is overwhelmed by his own daddy issues.  A photograph of John Winchester attending a baseball game on the kid’s birthday is exactly the kind of father-son moment Dean always wanted but never had.  And don’t blink at the very end because Dean flashes a rather hilarious glance to Sam.
